A short while ago Mrs H, a 38 year old woman came to see me. She was cracking up. Chronic crippling insomnia had become unbearable. With great reluctance she had resorted to ever increasing doses of sleeping tablets. I was shocked to see the fear and stress in her red eyes.
She had no appetite, no energy, poor memory, felt fat despite being underweight and confessed to feeling extremely overwhelmed and despairing about ever getting better. How does it work?
The restriction/compression/rigidity between the occiput (head), C1 (the atlas or 1st neck vetebra) and C2 (the axis or 2nd neck vetebra) are holding the key to all the ‘patterning’ in your body and by extension in YOU!
Patterning is repetitive, compulsive, automatic, driven behaviour that is mirrored in the body and results in many of us continuing to experience the same pain over and over again with only minor variations in light and shade.
Restoring normal mobility and functioning at this pivotal area not only relieves physical symptoms but can also create a shift in awareness which turns the existing negative vortex into a positive, vitalising, upward spiral!
In most cases, an initial treatment and follow up are all that is required to initiate lasting change.

- Conventional ‘adjustments’ to the occiput/atlas are painful and rarely effective.
- Even if mobility is improved, it typically will only hold for a period of time.
- Many manual therapists are reluctant to treat this area directly. They do not however, always explain this to patients.

I experienced instant improvement !Prior to meeting Gabriel I had been in and out of Chiropractic and Oesteopathic clinics for years, none of the treatments ever seemed to hold.I have known Gabriel for 14 years and have been a great supporter of his oesteopathic and holistic healing abilities, sending both friends and family to see him.
